  Report:

The Gender & Space project organized a discussion on ‘Lesbian Women’s Access to Public Space’ which was introduced by members of the group Lesbians and Bisexual in Action (LABIA).

The discussion was intended to highlight the fact that lesbian women face discrimination in public space both as women and as members of a sexual minority. A lively debate ensued which touched on issues of difference, class, language, and region with people raising issues and relating anecdotes.
